Question about 1999 Suzuki GSX-R 600
Bike starts first touch and revs smoothly in neutral, but as soon as the bike is under acceleration below 4000rpm there is a vibration which clears above 4000rpm,bike has done 20k with the only extra addition been a micron can.
Hello cloaky...does the vibration seem to be more RPM related than speed related on your gixxer? Can it be felt more through the grips, or foot pegs? Any noise along with the vibration?
The 99 GSX-R600 has been subject to recall for the replacement of it's faulty cam chain tensioner (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 99V132000) Dealer supplied and installed at no charge under warranty... corrected the problem of cam chain tension but the damage of shorten chain life for most owners, had already occured. Didn't know if you were aware of this...so i thought i would mention it.
Hope this helps...
