Check for pinched hoses for venting the tank. Also might be a faulty cap. Check for cracks in the gaskets, too.

I have a 1995 Polaris Magnum 425 4x4 4-stroke has gas in the oil after starting it. It was sitting since January. The oil tank and crankcase were filled with gas. It also comes out the pull starter hole.

This is likely a carb problem. It's a common problem on Magnum engines. Check the main jet and the diaphram on top of the carb. Always turn the gas off on these when you're done riding. This way, if the carb is allowing fuel to drain in the oli tank, it won't drain the whole gas tank (which is what happened to you). This is not a piston ring problem with that much gas in the oil. good luck

My Polaris Sportsman 90 ATV has 70lbs of compression on the engine is that enough ? It does not start .

70lbs for a 90cc should be good, but 80-85 is better. Compression drops from piston rings wearing out, most of the time. Piston rings wear out from old oil...every time. Rule of Thumb: 5 tanks of gas, change your oil !!! It's not a car !!! A car has 5 quarts of oil which takes about 3 months to break down (2,000 miles or so), 90 cc engine has a half a quart, which takes about 3 weeks to break down (based on everyday use) SO...5 tanks of gas, change your oil..

as for the not starting thing, check for spark (should be a blue spark ONLY, any other, replace plug, orange won't ignite gas) if you haven't been riding for a while, open the drain screw on the bottom the carburetor and drain the water out. Ethanol turns to water when the gas sits too long...

2006 Ford Escape spews gas from fill pipe during very cold weathe

The little air holes above the gas tank hole don't work very well on these. I've noticed it too. Just hold the pump at a little bit of an angle when this happens which will allow more air to escape your tank.

There is water in your fuel. Drain the tank and flush it out with denatured alcohol. Refill with fresh fuel.

Stop dealing with this dealer and find another one or call Polaris and tell them your story. It's a 2009 and should be under warranty unless the hours or mileage is exceeded. Even so, Polaris should give you some satisfaction.
