Hello I am Vortash .. I would say your problem is either blocked idler jets or incorrect fuel mixture ( Air to fuel not correct ) take the bike to your local garage to use their air line unless you have a compressor of your own remove the fuel feed tank side and blow it through with the airline if this don't cure it you will probably need to have the carbs tuned to manufacturesr spec's , If you are more mechanicaly minded strip the idler jets out pass a fine strip of wire through them and replace .You can also get this problem if you have an air leak on the maniflod or the carb bowl etc hope this helps regards Vortash

Exhaust (catalytic converter) may be clogged...also when last tune-up including new air filter...dirty injectors can be cleaned with a gas tank additive...(Lucas Oil injector fuel cleaner) Has your car been parked for an extended time?

Idles too low and dies

How long since a tune-up? Has your Sierra been parked for awhile? Dirty gas, add Lucas Oil Injector cleaner to gas tank...water in tank, add Liquid Heat...dirty air filter, replace and clean out throttle body...Idle Air Control valve...spray, wipe out with rag...also spray the MAF sensor with special spray ONLY...injector spray erodes the sensor finish...:(

Mtd yardworks walk behind starts then idles down shuts off after 20 seconds whats wromg

Usually when a mower dies, it is a fuel delivery problem. Have you changed the filter? Is the gas fresh. Also has the air filter and spark plug been changed recently? the Carburetor may need to cleaned. Take the air cleaner off and spray some carb cleaner in the throat of the carb. Also, take about 1/3 bottle of carb/fuel system cleaner and add it to the gas in the tank.. For the new mower engines, there is no fine-tune adjustments on the carburetor. Also clean the exterior of the carb with carb spray.

Why does yardworks 173cc bs engine will start, run, for 2-3 seconds then stop

Bad gas. Drain gas and refill with fresh gas with Stabil. Old oil. Drain oil fill with fresh 30w oil, 16-18oz. Clean air filter and spark plug.. Relpace air filter if dirty. Saving $$$ on this simple tune up is not intelligent.

My e series 142 spins the chain and idles insanely fast when I have the choke pulled out. Then when I give it throttle it calms down and then I can barely keep it idling. with throttle all the way pulled...

Check air filter- clean or replace, Make sure you have fresh fuel, A new spark while you are giving it a service, Do you know how to tune the saw? Start with basic settings 1 turn on the low and 1 turn on the high And adjust from there, You might have turned the idle up too high. The choke should always be fully in when saw is running. Hope this is a good start

Murray mower starts with choke but dies

most likely your main jet in the carb is clogged, water in fuel, or a plugged fuel line, filter, or plugged in the tank where the fuel line connects. it is common to have a plug where the fuel line exits the fuel tank if there is a 90 degree turn in the fitting, debris may build up in the 90 degree area. check by replacing old fuel with new, then pull fuel line from carb and fuel should flow freely, look for a blocked fuel line if it does not flow. it it does flow, pinch off fuel line then remove the float bowl to drain remaining gas and give acess to the main jet. the main jet is located in the side or bottom of the lowest protruding area into the float bowl. run a thin wire like a guitar string thru the small jet hole to unplug, then squirt a little wd-40 thru jet hole to visually check flow. next, unpinch fuel line and fuel should flow from carb into float bowl area. then check to make sure the fuel stops flowing when the float is gently lifted to the top of its travel. if problem in this area, remove float pin, float, and needle valve and check for blockage in the needle valve seat. clean out with wd-40 and reassemble, add fresh gas and give it a try!

2002 Hyosung GV250 running problems

Time for carb cleaning , blow the jets with compressed air, check the float level.
Check the spark plug and replace if neccessary.
Check the air filter too, and if you don't have an 'inline' filter for your fuel line, install one.
Basically yr bike's engine needs a tune up...check the valve clearance too!
Hope this helps!

Engine stalls after acceleration - Start fine, idles fine, but won't run at full speed. Engine dies when throttle is engaged more than half-way. Fuel filter is ok, air filter has been cleaned.

Sounds like its not "un-choking" it self, that its running like its still choked like you wold at initial start up.

Disassemble it and see if u can pysically see the activation and deactivation of the choke when u apply them.

While u are at it, also make sure:

Gas is fresh?

MIx is right?

Plug is good?

Chain brake mechanism is released.?

Good luck.

Engine is not running smooth

is it stalls in low idle? The truck probably needs a tune up, new spark plugs and wires, new air filter, oil and oil filter, then spray carb cleaner down the carb, or dump some cleaner in the gas tank as well..... most people ignore and neglect their cars, so when they die they wonder what happened. Get a tune up, she will run like new.
