I have a 1997 gsxr 750 srad and it has the standard tokka front break calipers, problem is they stick ,My question is can I fit a different set of calipers and what make are good and will fit .

Hi, Nick those calipers worked fine for 20 years if they are sticking a little rebuild them with a new caliper kit, it;s a lot cheaper for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. Runs and starts fine but will not rev over 9,000 rpms, in neutrol or going down the road, runs great, starts great, revs good till 9,000. wont go over lke it cuts out. idles good. what is it, 98 gsxr 750...

First impression was why would anyone rev their motorcycle to 9 grand in neutral? I could see if you were in gear clutch pulled and ready for a "drag" or Race Start but in neutral?

Anyway I can't hear it so if the sound is like it hits 9k and starts popping then two things either an over rev limiter which I doubtr because the engine red lines at 13,500 OR you have a set of spark plugs breaking down under load

My 2008 suzuki gsxr 600 stalls when it reaches 70mph and above ,when the bike slows down the engine gives a **** and comes back in operation.

Make sure your air filter is clean, check the fuel filter and tank for contaminants.
More off the wall , the rev limiter may be faulty, is it a certain speed or a given rev range that causes the shutdown?
Look at the air filter first!!
Good Luck, Marshall

96 srad 750 cutting out at high revs as if run out of fuel

Have the same problem on mine. Putting it on a rolling road tomorrow
to check fuelling as it may be float heights or fuel pump. Will post you any positive result.
