Question about 1999 Yamaha XT 600 E
Hi any one want a challenge the problem is i can not get a spark, most of the wireing has been chopped out, i am left with no lights no turn signal i have got power to the coil & tdi could any one help me with the
minimum amount of wireing i need to get my bike started again i have been working on this bike for well over two months solid day and night
before work and after and giving the missis a headache to and now she
dont even make me a cup of tea when im out there now, pleeeeease help
the man with no bike no wife no tea no life just basic wires left
Sorry to hear of your nightmare with the recovered XT, i,m afraid your best bet is to download a manual, now there are a couple of sites out there that let you for free, usually in PDF format and obviously copies, but atleast you would then have a diagram. I can't help further as there may be other components needse or missing that are important even on a basic torky single like yours. I ride an FMX 650 but i like the Yammy and its alot lighter than mine. Best wishes - the Yeti - Hastings

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
