It could be a number of things, difficult to say on bike engines,it could be the rings have collapsed, piston damaged or gudgeon pin broken. It will be best if you open engine and check internal parts and take it from there,it will work out cheaper

Loss of power, wont go over 40 mph, and takes a while getting there...

Check the "Basics" first. Clean Air Filter, Check the Spark Plug. When you kick it over, Is there resistance on the kick starter which means it has compression. Is it hard to start? When the motor gets tired, It will lose compression and be hard to start. I would start on the Air Filter and spark plug. Also, Does it have fresh gas in it?

No spark on yamaha dtr 125cc

Sounds like you are flooding the engine with gas. Put in a new spark plug then twist the throttle one time to prime the cylinder. Now get your hands off the throttle and give it a few kicks. Each time you twist the throttle the power valve gives a shot of gas. Too much can flood the engine quickly.

Jeep liberty check engine light is on and wont go over 25 miles an hour......tranny or a fusable link or some sort of electronic??

The speed can be limited to 25mph for many reasons. For example sudden loss of compression, misfire, injection related problem, or speed limiter kicking in.

The only way to find out is by scanning the car ECU (main control module) with an ODB II code reader.

125 wont start

hello
that does sound very similar to a loss of comrpession. usually what happens when you lose compression, and you load the cylinder up with fuel the plug starts to ignite it a little and does not actually combust. i would still definately reccomend sticking a comrpession gauge on it to make sure though.
