Question about 2002 Buell Blast
My 2002 buell blast, will not run faster than 50mph in third gear. If I shift into fourth it boggs and my speed quickly decreases. Other than that it runs fine, starts right up, ect. Plug, ignition wire, air filter all new. Help?
Open up your gas cap, vapor lock does occur occasionally & then replace & make sure you check the over flow leaving from gas cap also for kinks. Also check your battery might need a new 1. Last that hasn't been covered check to make sure your sparkplug wire didn't come off the to of your sparkplug or ignition box . GooD luck keep the ThumpeR AliVe

Sounds like fuel starvation...Check 4 kinks in fuel lineand/or dirt in petcock...replace any fuel filter u might find...did u gap ur plugs properly? run premium fuel and a 1/2 bottle of Sea Foam or Techroline thru the next 2 tanks of gas....Good luck to you friend....Tim
