Question about 2000 Bajaj Chetak 150
Just got a 2006 Bajaj Chetak with 500 miles. Had been sitting for months. The guy delivered it and it seemed fine. A couple weeks later I started it. Then the battery seemed dead so I charged it up and tried to ride it to work. It sounds all flubby and sputters and stops. Not responsive to the throttle. SHould I take it in?
Since it still starts and runs, i would try to save money and buy a bottle of Techroline (Chevron) gas additive and put in1/2 bottle w/full tank of gas. By the 2nd tankful and 2nd half of bottle you should notice a big improvement, but if no change take it to a competent scooter mech....Good Luck to you friend.....tim

If it stops, there might be a reason at carbourator.. open the carbourator box and anc clean the knots by using some oli or kerosene.. clean it and refix it.. this might help you..
