Your carb. is dirty. Use a varb. cleaner gasoline additive such as seafoam. If you use that product, from most auto parts stores, you add one ounce per gallon of gas.

Also, change the spark plug. If these steps don't solve the problem you will have to remove the carb, soak it in carb cleaner for a couple of hours and possibly rebuild it.

My honda 2005 crf 150 is idling awful

If you haven't done anything to the bike except let it sit for a while you probably need a carb clean. The passages in the carb on that bike are tiny and just a little bit of crud will plug the idle circuit.

Is the choke on in the up or down position crf 150 f 2005

try in both positions when trying to start it,kick it a couple of times in the up position if it starts and idles a little high then choke on,then push it down while running,if idle smooths, then choke is off,may have to do it couple times, but you will be able to tell the difference.

I have a 2003 crf 150 it runs great starts easy but dies out of the blue. will start right back up but usually stalls again right after. the carbs clean and it does not smoke. drives and idles great but...

I recommended you to check the air filter and clean it as well and also tune your air-fuel ratio to 9:1. This will workout but if it still continues then get service by an authorized personal.

Honda 2003 crf 230 bike idles fine with choke on,dies with choke off

You sound like you have a blocked idle jet in the carb. Honda trail bikes love new oil, clean air cleaners and clean fuel. After a while a build up of tannins and crusty residue will invade the carby bowl and usually migrate through the carb via the jets and the emulsion tube where the jet needle runs. The easiest way to fix your problem is to remove the carb and go through it. Clean all jets and check float height and generally get it back to scratch. You will have to re- adjust your idle and mixture settings after you have fited it back to the bike. If you are not Mechanicaly savi then I would suggest you take the bike in to your local honda dealer and get them to go through the carb for you.. It's not a big problem and is easlily fixed.

Hope this helps...

Cheers...
