I put a new battery in, changed the solenoid, changed the spark plugs. When you go to start it, it clicks, it turns over, but won't start up. It sounds like it's starving for fuel. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Get a can of starter fluid and spray a short burst into the air intake...it should fire up...if it won't stay running or idle your carb is clogged from storage i presume...right? usually storage for more than 3 mos will clog a carb if you did not winterize it...Good luck to you friend...Tim
Oh no, don't buy a carb, just remove the one ya got, turn it upside down, remove the bowl
(4 screws) and you will see a little brass hollow srew inside carb (maybe 2 of them) carefully remove ,clean out these jets and reinstall, if this scares ya take the carb to a trusted friend/mech....see ya...Tim

Tim,
Thanks for the info, I tried the spray, then tried to start it and still nothing. I cleaned out the air filter and the fuel filter and still nothing. Any other ideas? I'm hoping it's not the carb, but could be possible. Is it cheaper to take it into a shop to get it fixed, or for me to buy a new carb and replace it myself?
Thanks for your help,
Helder
