Car a/c not working

Hard to say with just low pressure readings. But either the high pressure switch is bad or you are low on freon. If you want to know what is wrong I need the temperature of outside air, the low pressure reading and the high pressure reading as the compressor is running. But this only tells you ta particular problem. It won't tell you if you have a leak. This you have to find out on your own.

Honda element 5 speed will not start sometimes. Clutch is pushed hard to floor and acts like you don't even have clutch pushed at all.

I cannot remember the name of the darn thing but it is an activator switch that tells your transmission the clutch is engaged. If it is not that I would say it is your clutch itself.

02 town car ac trouble

Could be the front clutch on the AC unit playing up but without a play i couldnt tell you ,maybe even a contact somewhere along the line who knows but i cannot get over this cavalier attitude of just bought a can of gas which is a lethal poison R124 is a dangerous substance and you buy a can over the counter ,here in europe you have to do a course and hold a certificate before you buy a canister of this gas which is a minium weight of 12kgs for using on the approved type of machine for refilling a car.

I have a 02 Saturn and my clutch is giving me some problems..when the car is on the clutch pedal won't allow me to engage in any gears, but when turned off it allows me to shift no problem. Checked all the...

You have one of these two things going on....Either the clutch master cylinder is internally bypassing or the clutch itself has gone bad. If you can pump the clutch and sometimes be able to shift, the master is bad. If the clutch pedal feels normal, then I'd suspect the actual clutch disc is worn out.
Your clutch has little to do with shifting with the engine off as nothing is turning and engaging the gears is not a problem. Have an experienced tech take a look at it if in doubt ...should take all of five minutes to determine what's wrong.

Clutch will not engage gears, got a quote, not the transmission.

The transmission doesn't have anything wrong, is simple the pressure plate, one of the 3 parts that conform a clutch. Just take the car to a honest mechanic and tell them that you can to replace the clutch. The advantage of a manual transmission is the fact that they are practically for ever, unless you leave them for months without the high viscosity (w-90) oil that they use.

Make sure you aren't using an incompatable oil, wet bath clutches need engine oil to be compatable. Most synthetics will cause slip in taller gears due to added load. Lower gears usually won't slip but 3rd and up will.

Clutch wont engage

It sounds like the clutch must be incorrectly assembled. No offense meant, is is easy to miss one little thing. Go to the site below and look at the clutch diagram. Note that the assembly begins and ends with a friction plate and that a metal pressure plate goes between each friction plate. You should have 7 metal pressure plates and 8 friction plates.

The clutch outer basket seldom goes bad unless hit with a hammer or a tree. Why did it need to be replaced? Did you compare the new OEM hub to the old one? They may have given you the wrong basket. The tighter the cable the less likely the clutch will engage. You should have 1/4" end play at the handlebar lever. By the way, exactly what oil did you put in the gearbox after replacing the clutch? Okay, this is a good start. Post a comment if you need to get back to me.

Please rate this solution. Thanks!
