Question about 2004 Yamaha YZ 125
My yamaha lost power on the way home the oyher day. I pulled the clutch and pulled in. all electrics seemed ok. I went to kickstart the bike but the lever would not move. I have taken the engine out and once the cylider head is removed the kickstart operates nice and smoothly. i bolt the head on by hand and once again the kickstart will move a little then seize. Does anyone seen this problem before and tell me where to look for the problrm?
Check your 2 stroke oil reservoir, got a feeling it's bone dry. If so your cylinder is scored and will need some machining, new piston and rings....Good luck to you friend...Tim
