Something is causing the fuse to blow, its hard to say what it is without seeing the bike, but more then likely, you have a shorted out wire somewhere or a bad ground wire, possibly to your battery,

NO turn signal or neutral light, no speedometer or horn working. Changed 10 amp fuses but they keep blowing?

10 amp fuse is small a few things that you can do. go to a 15 and turn every thing on snd see if it blows and how long. if it don't blow in 5 mins. your good if it does blow then you have a wire problem. if so. unplug every thing that has to do with that fuse. and plug 1 in at a time UNTIL the fuse blows. good luck.

V star 1100 headlight fuse blows repeatedly

Hi, Anonymous you have a dead short which is usually the easiest to find. Using a test light connected to the hot side of the blown fuse holder, start probing the wire leaving the fuse holder about an inch away the test light should illuminate, keep probing towards the ignition switch until the test light no longer illuminates you are now very close to the short. Headlight does not work

Hi, Rvheusen if your headlight is not working, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn down solder contacts or loose fit of the bulb base in the socket due to vibration.
3. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
4. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
5. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
8. Faulty headlight relay.
9. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
10. Weak charging alternator/generator.
11. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier ground or overcharging.

Fuse blows without bike on wont run

Manufacture wiring is usually pretty solid and when stuff like this happens, it is usually because something changes.
Which fuse is it? Usually there is a label on the fuse box.
Please clarify the circumstances of how this happened. Were you riding along at freeway speeds in a straight line, or perhaps leaned over in a sharp curve, or performed any recent changes/repair to the bike?
Any way, the fuse is the built in weak point to protect whatever is using the power from the battery. The problem is between the fuse and the end device(s).
As always... look the bike over really well and be sure to look for anything odd like wires up against something hot or wrapped around corners and other possible chafing points.
Find out what that circuit supplies power to and remove at least one device from that circuit.
Be sure to only do one at a time.
For each thing disconnected, check and see if the fuse blows again. ( I found an ohm meter will be misleading at times so I just invest in fuses for this test) Also, as you disconnect each device, with the fuse removed, check the hot wire (power supply) of that device for ground (with an ohm meter). If it is grounded, the problem may lie between that device and the fuse.
