My clutch wont go into any gear unless i force it.. And it grinds on going in reverse. is it the master/slave cylinder the problem. or the clutch? please help!!!

Hopefully you got a warranty with the clutch job, so I would take it back to that shop first. If you have someone else work on the truck the first shop is off the hook for responsibility. Its possible the clutch has failed, or you have developed a new problem.

Kia sephia will start but when lights turned on door locks and starter motor engage?

you have wires reversed at the fuse block under hood, matbe had to replace sone of the maxi fuse's that bolt in?? the clutch is probable bad there is a test motor running emergency brake on then push clutch pedal in and try 1st gear and keep pedal down during this, go 1st gear the to reverse if wont go smoothly or grinds then most likly clutch throwout bearing is bad, maybe clutch cable is streched or not adjusted properly if it is mechanical clutch, depends on year and engine size

Fiat punto s60 wont go into gear after bleeding brakes and clutch

Well it's sounds like to me that the grinding sound you hear is throwout bearing, and as far as no clutch, if you don't have no clutch pedal what I mean is it don't feel lime it used to that is your slave cylinder, it needs replaced, usually when they go out they just go, don't give no warning

My 92 600 katana wont start. It wont even turn over, when i press the start nothing happens. the battery is good i charged it up and all the lights work but it still wont turn over.

If the clutch switch, the neutral safety switch, and the side stand switch are all working correctly, then test the starting system. When you push the starter button you should hear a click , so you know the button is working.Follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid. Disconnect the two wires that activate the solenoid, test the two wires from the harness make sure the needle on your voltage meter jumps when you push the starter button, this means the button is good. Take a wire and jump the two posts on the solenoid or touch the two cables together. If your starter works, then you need a new solenoid. If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter works you need new starter brushes. Anything else wrong with the starter and you need to replace the starter assembly , the manufacturer does not make replacement parts for the starter.

My '97 Cavalier seems to be having clutch problems. All of the sudden the clutch pedal has started sticking when I push it down and I can hear a grinding kind of noise. Can this just be an adjustment...

It sounds like you have a clutch slave cylinder leak. I just replaced mine about two months ago and only payed about 80$ for a new slave cylinder.

Grinding in the gearbox area while driving

manual ,thank heaven ,dont see many autos here in spain, right without driving car so i can hear it then it stands two possibilities ,when clutch is depressed you hear a noise like a grinding squel ,this is the thrust bearing ,if you hear a rumbling noise that disappears when clutch is depressed then this is lay shaft bearings ,Now also the problem can be the fingers on the clutch plate are worn and the bearing is pushing the clutch plate fingers down but if one or two are worn away then the thrust bearing is being pushed through the pressure plate ,either way a new clutch is need and as these vehicles are rear wheel drive they are not difficult to renew ,Just have to make yourself a clutch alignment tool from a broom handle .Dont be scared of it they are not that difficult to do just dirty and messy thats all the hardest part is aligning the clutch so the spigot shaft goes through easly and you dont have to struggle pushing the gearbox in

Clutch makes a grinding noise and shorts out the radio.

Is the sound that of your starter trying to engage? It also sounds like the guy who replaced your clutch really didn't know what was wrong other then to sell you a clutch replacement. Bad shop, call this guy and tell him his fix didn't work and to either do it right or give you your money back for a fix that wasn't needed.
But it still sounds like some wire or clutch pedal linkage part is grounding out while engaging your starter. Anyone else, some thoughts?

There is a loud grinding noise when the clutch is pushed in.

Sounds like a clutch release bearing locked up, or pressure plate damage. In any case its obvious that the prinny has to come out and look inside to ascertain extent of damage. This major project requires the expertise and experience of a mechanic.
