Close gas valve, pull gas lines of carb and drain in jar. Unscrew clamp to air intake, unscrew top of carb that throttle cable goes in to, pull out top with cable and needle and set aside. Now unbolt carb and pull it off.
Now take the 4 bolts from bottom of carb.

Soak floats and entire carb in a pan of solvent for about an hour

My 2008 crf 230L wont idle when choke is off

The low speed circuit in the carb is plugged up a bit. clean the carb with spray carb cleaner. Spray into every hole you can find in the carb body. Spray from both ends if possible. Pay special attention the the highlighted parts. Remove them and do the cleaning. Put it all back together and hopefully the blockage has been cleared. Please rate my answer.

06 CRF 450 that went under water, not getting fuel to plug

Chances are the air filter is extremely wet. Air can't get through a wet filter, and if no air can flow through the carb, no gas can flow through either. Remove the filter and try again to get the engine started. I assume you drained and cleaned the gas tank already. If still no joy, remove the carb and clean it using spray carb cleaner. Remove the air screw and throttle screw and spray into the screw holes as well as all the little drill holes in the carb body. The object here is to clean out the pilot jet and idle circuit. When re-assembling the carb, put the air and throttle screws back in and turn them inward until they LIGHTLY seat. Now open each of them up one and one half turns. This is the factory setting. How do i remove the rear shock spring from my 2004 crf 250r

Put the bike on a stand supporting the bottom of the frame. Remove the seat and sidepanels. Loosen the clamp on the carb to airbox boot at the rear of the carb. Loosen the muffler clamp, remove muffler mounting bolts and pull muffler. Remove the 4 rear subframe bolts. Remove the rear subframe (leave airbox and rear fender assembled in it). You are now staring at a completely exposed rear shock. Remove the shock mount bolts and remove the shock. Measure the spring adjusted length for a future starting point when the spring is put back on. Loosen both spring pre-load adjuster spanner nuts all the way. Helps if you clean the dirt off the threads and use a little lube. Pull the spring towards the spanner nuts and remove the clip ring at the opposite end spring holder. that's it.

Are the frames the same? 05 crf 250r and a 07 crf

No. Honda has a very crafty way of making two different models look like they have parts that will interchange, when - in reality - they are totally different. That goes for not only the major components like frames, but for nearly every part, on nearly every model. Very little in the way of parts interchangeability.

the only thing that could screw up after an oilchange is over filling the oil. check the oil level. other possibilty, check areas you worked on/around in case you bumped a wire.

YOU WILL SEE A SLOT IN THE SLIDE THE CABLE AND SPRING HAVE TO COME OUT OF THE SLOT ON THE END OF THE CABLE IS WHAT HOLDS THE CABLE IN THE SLIDECOMPRESS THE SPRING AND THE CABLE WILL THEN HAVE PLAY TO REMOVE THE CABLE FROM THE SLIDE, REPLACE THE SAME WAY
