you will have to find your idle mixture screw on the carburator and riching the mixture till the idles smooths out. Warm the motor up to operating temperature before adjusting.

Might be a problem with the computer. The computer grounds the fuel pump relay and also provides a ground to the coil.
Do you have spark at the plugs, and normal fuel pressure ?
Have you checked for trouble codes in the computer ?

My car cranks but does not start

The starter system will not affect the engine starting. Only cranking.
Someone would need to figure out if you are missing spark to the plugs or fuel to the injectors to proceed.

Fuel pump (if you have one) weak or has trash that can move . intermitten short, make sure all fuses are tight not just look good. Probably a re-occuring problem with trash or water in fuel.(fill fuel from clean fuel can ) If it was trash and cleaning carbs made a difference, clean tank filter and lines too.

do you have a pair valve on the left side of your jugs? this is an emissions control device i believe. I have a carb'ed bike and if the hoses are not hooked up or if the hose has a crack, you will **** alot of air in the tank and dump a lot of fuel into the carb. up side of that, big blue flames shoot out of your pipes at about 30mph..

Fuel Pump?

I believe that the fuel pump relay is behind the battery. It should be located right near the oil cooler and it should have a watertight connection. I think you might just have corrosion across the terminals which would cause it to start in the middle of the day when it is warm but not when it might be a little damper. What is your climate like? Let me know if you can't find and if you have further questions

Bike wont Start.

You can accidentally UNPLUG the tip sensor if you remove/jar the front fairing. Verify that it is plugged in. If you uninstalled the tip sensor, make sure it is installed in the correct position. Here's the service manual next steps after that check: First thing the SM states when you turn the key and get no fuel pump "noise" is to inspect the fuel pump by measuring the voltage between the terminals. If there is battery voltage, check the main fuse (20A), sub fuse (10A), engine stop switch, fuel cutoff relay (relay box under left middle cowl), engine stop relay, bank angle sensor, and finally, ECM.
