Kawasaki teryx 2008 750 missing at low speed


Hi, Tony and the usual suspects are:
1. Throttle cables misaligned or misrouted.
2. Damaged or restricted fuel tank venting system.
3. Inlet system air leak.
4. Vacuum piston malfunction.
5. Accelerator pump leaking or no output.
6. Plugged bowl vent.
7. Fuel level in bowl too low.
8. Restricted fuel supply passages.
9. Plugged jets or passages.
10. Worn or damaged needle or needle jet.
12. The enricher valve not seated or leaking.

I have a 2008 Kawasaki Teryx 750 and its not firing coming out the CDI box


If you can get a diagram of the resistance readings for the box, use a multi meter and check the readings between ALL of the pins when it is on a bench (off the bike). If they are all within the specifications then the CDI is fine. It is a laborious task, but persevere as this could rule out an unnecessary and costly replacement.
You might be able to find the numbers in a manual or online.

Backfiring and loss of power


Pull the spark plugs and see if they have a black sooty coating.

Sounds like a too rich condition.
