I run 20w50 racing oil in my Triumph... It has the additives I prefer... But check with your owners manual as it might of come from the factory with synthetic oil... Your dealer would also know. Next time, include the year please

Can i use rotella oil in a conventional gas motor

You should use a good motorcycle oil. A motorcycle oil has additives that benefit the clutch. I recommend Amsoil 10W40 motorcycle oil for the goldwing for most conditions and I am not a dealer.

Do I put 5w-30 in my 2008 sierra gmc?

5w 30 is a common GM recommended oil - it has a wider ambient temperature range than (for example) 10w 30. The recommended grade is sometimes moulded into the oil filler cap that fits into the valve cover.

Did you follow your service manual recommendations for oil changes. Your bike may require two different oils in different locations. Call your service center, to verify.

How much oil goes in a 1998 VL 1500? Never done

Drain your oil. Get several quarts of oil that Suzuki recommends for your VL 1500. Fill it until your dip stick indicates the proper level.

Dont get cheap on this ... motorcycles take q beating and need high quality lubricants.

Can i0w 40 oil oppose to 5w 20 that is recommended in a 2007 dodge ram 1500 with hemi?

do not use 10W-40W, it will starve the engine rod and main bearings, use the 5W-20W as recommended, also thicker oils can blow the oil filter off, seen it a number of times.

How to set valaes on a 1500 intruder

1998-2004 1500 Intruders have hydraulic valves, so they require no adjustments. They may eventually need replacement, which should be done by a competent mechanic/dealer. If you are experiencing valve problems, check your oil type and last time it was changed. If you are using a different oil than recommended, or if it is old, the oil may not be pressurizing the hydraulic system correctly. Just my 2 cents.
