Hey pal! Go to your favorite Motorcycle parts store (Cycle Gear etc) and buy 4 Qts of Castrol Syntec 10-30 or 10-40 wt. If you bike has a centerstand put in on center. Look carefully on both sides of bike engine for a small siteglass to check oil level..if you have a dipstick forget about the siteglass.Your bike will take between 3 &4 qts and we will start by putting 3 in the crankcase after we have put drainplug back in and installed new filter ok? Then start motor for 1 minute letting the oil pump into the new filter. shut bike off and check oil off as needed...Good Luck to you !....Tim

How many quarts of oil and what type of oil does a 1996 nissan altima take

4-5 quarts of 5w30, on average. It will depend on motor size...A v-6 uses more oil than a v-4. When in doubt, put 3.5 quarts in, then start measuring with the dipstick to avoid over-filling with oil, as this can blow a gasket, worst case scenario... 5W 30 Synthetic Oil Bing images

How much oildo i need to put in my 89 cbr 600 when i change the oil? and wat weight of oil should i use? and any specific brand or oil? thank you

To check your oil level , locate the large round clutch cover on the right side of the engine. With the motorcycle on the center stand unscrew the dipstick and wipe it off. Put the dipstick back in the fill hole till it stops but do not screw it in. Look at the level of the oil between the two marks. To change your oil you will need 4 quarts of oil, a filter, and a new aluminum drain plug washer. You can reuse the old drain plug washer if it has not been squished out of shape. Your motorcycle comes from Honda usually with 10w-40 mineral base motorcycle oil. You can use any oil that is JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cold climate. 20w-50 for warm climate/touring. Car oils use different additives and may cause scoring in certain types of cam bearings. Do not use any oil that says " Energy Conserving " on the label . It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. If you choose Synthetic oils, they will help your bike run cooler and shift easier. Pour in three quarts of oil and add enough from the fourth quart to reach the high mark on the dip stick. You will probably need either 3.2 or 3.4 quarts to hit the high mark. Run the motor for a minute or two to fill the oil filter compartment with oil. Now recheck the oil level and top up as needed.

How much oil does my honda aero take and wat kind

It takes between 3 and 4 quarts. Use the dipstick and be careful not to over fill. Use only a JASO MA certified motorcycle oil . 10w-40 for cold climate and 20w-50 for warm weather and long distance riding. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label. Synthetic oil will help your bike run cooler and shift easier.

Wat kind of oil should i put and how many quarts

Hi, depending on the climate you live in. A general purpose 10W30, is a good all rounder. If its hotter, then a 20W50 oil. Dont know the exact quantity, but somewhere about 2 quarts, it should have a dipstick on the filler cap, so just add a little at a time, checking regularly. Dont forget the oil filter too, located behind the small round cover, on the right hand side engine case. Changing this will require a little more oil , mabey 2 &half quarts.
Good Luck

Type of engine oil?1994 plymouth voyager v6

API SG or SG/CD look on the Cap or Label of the Oil Container (Quart, Gallon, or 5 Quarts).
10W 30 for Winter.
10W 40 for Summer.
V6 3.0L gets 4.0-quarts.
V6 3.3L and 3.8L gets 4.5 quarts.
Always change Oil Filter with the Oil Change.

When changing the oil, how many quarts and what type of oil is used?

Most engines have it stamped in block ,beside oil fill hole example on oil bottle should say 936 ml on quart bottle. Most suzukis over 750cc use 3.9 quarts of oil. DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC OILS..will cause clutch slippage ..Also look under seat, most bikes have a sticker with oil capacity, filter type, spark plug type

The specs say 3.1 liters, which converts into about 3.4 quarts... somewhere in that general range, though I tend to put in a little more since I live in Taxes, and it's so hot down here.
