Front right burner will not ignite

Hello, I have this gas range and out of nowhere the front right burner ( largest one with the glass screen) does not light up. We turn on the gas, it's starts to spark but ever lights. It was working perfectly up to now, how can I solve this problem? Thx

Several possibilities come to mind, if you recently cleaned the stove top, you may have jarred the burner head and unseated it. So when you turn the knob for the electronic spark to ignite the gas, the ignitor is not completing the circuit to the burner head you are trying to light.
That's predicated that it is NOT a sealed burner head- then it's immoveable or removable.
Or, the jets to the burner head could be obstructed- a light blow of air around the burner head can easily remove the obstruction.
The 3rd possibility, the ignitor to that particular burner is defective.
Light a kitchen match first, bring it close enough to the burner (but not so close that you'll burn yourself) and turn it on- if it lights, you know the burner jets are not blocked.
Turn off the stove top- WAIT FOR IT TO COOL DOWN- then try to re-seat the burner head and see if it will light using the electronic spark. You may have to try re-seating the burner head by turning it to a different position until you feel it seat into place.

I'd get a briquette lighter down in there when you turn it on and try to light it manually. If it does not light, it is a gas supply problem (bad valve or control), and time to call appliance guy. If it does light, the spark path over to the burner may just be plugged with something. If you have gas + spark, but no fire, it almost has to be that the spark can't reach the gas for some reason. That usually comes from something being plugged up.

If the front left also does not light normally, my best guess would be that the wires for the front left and right rear are crossed and the insulation may have fried. Besides that possibility, I have no clue.

My whirlpool range ss630per-1 burners will ignite except of front right which give no ignitor sound at all, but the Rear Right works fine. any solutions?

Each burner control knob has a built-in switch that controls the igniter. It appears the front right burner switch in the knob is possibly defective. They are replaceable but it requires dis-assembly of the range front. Are all the igniters in a sequence? Have you tried turning the front right burner on while another burner has the igniter on. This may let you ignite the burner automatically. When you have another burner igniter clicking try turning on that burner. If the range has rectification igniters that will not work.

Igniter clicks on the wrong burner

The spark supposes to go to all burners. The spark igniter of the non working burner needs to be replaced.

Top right burner on hotpoint gas range doesn't light

there is a spark ignition in the middle between the front and back burners....one for the left side and one on the right side. When it was cleaned i bet that the spark ignitor was slightly bent towards the front burner...now the gap is too big to fire the rear burner...the ignitor is very similar as the spark made in those push down lighters. so its safe to play around and adjust them as needed to make them work...Go ahead and take it apart and tinker with adjusting it...until you get both front and rear burners running again the way it was before.( peek at the otherside as a reference and try to make it match)
I hope this helps you out a little bit 8-)

Burners not lighting

You have one or more spark switches defective or a loose wire to the switches.
They are located on each gas valve stem.
Yes they should be replaced for safety.
In the interim you can match light the surface burners.

Burner will not ignite.

facing the spark ignition, the burner has small holes that need to be clean, those holes are going down on the side of the burners, take a look a the ones that are working so that you can see the small flames going down facing the electronic pilot call the spark ignitiong, you can take a safety pin or a paper clip and clean them. many times the ignition is between the front and rear burners, it's where the spark ignite the burners.

Stove burner igniter does not work.

Your problem is not the igniter itself, but the burner switch that controls the igniter. All the igniters get their power from one spark module that is mounted somewhere in back of the oven. That's why you are able to get all the igniters to spark with only one burner control turned on. This is normal. That is also why you are able to light the burner in question buy turning on another burner. The spark is being provided by a switch that is working. To answer your question: the igniter is removable, but I don't think it's necessary. Cleaning them generally doesn't make them work better. I would check the wiring from the spark module to the burner switch and/or replace the switch. I hope this helps.
