SOURCE: kawasaki jet ski starter motor removal

To get access to the starter you will probably have to lift the motor out of the machine. Most Kawaski hulls do not give you much room to work. When you take the exhaust off you may have enough room to unbolt the starter.

Hi, Bob due to the magnitude of yesterday's solar flare my night and x-ray vision optical devices have become inoperable so you will have to be my eyes, to find the source of your oil leak, start at the point where you see oil and trace its path going up and forward, if there is too much oil present then buy a spray can of engine degreaser apply it to the affected area then rinse off with a pressure wand or garden hose, use compressed air to blow off excess water or just let it drip dry, take your bike for a 5 mile ride and check for the leaks. no year stated.. now that , is a challenge, no?
front wipers
see those, wiper arms, see them connect to the bottom nut there
and that nut passes to the motor linkage and to the MOTOR.
see those boxes in the upper window, frame, might take a peak there.

the 1979 suzuki SJ20 stockman , in Australia? looks like a jeep?
that stockman.?\
like this.?

How do i remove a 1982 kawasaki kz 1000 starter motor

Follow the specific instructions in the Factory Service Manual. Step 1 - Remove the heavy wire from the starter solenoid. Either end will suffice. Step 2 - Remove the chrome cover over the starter. Step 3 - remove the screws that hold the starter motor in place. Step 4 - Lift the starter motor out of the engine. NOTE: removing the carbs may make this step simpler. The "business" end of the starter should come out of the splined starter clutch gear. If you have trouble removing the starter from the clutch gear, you may need to remove the left side stator cover to gain access to the starter clutch and chain.
