SOURCE: Ive notice that headlight sort

Sounds to me like a weak battery or possibly ... let me repeat ... possibly a weak or failing alternator/rectifier.

If you have a service manual, you might test the rectifier yourself. You can get a free Generic Honda service manual at the Honda Rider Site: http://hrca.honda.com/ All you have to do is sign up then download. You can also purchase a specific manual from the same site if you want. Be prepared to spend around $60.00 US

You could do a hydro test and a voltage test on your batter if you wanted and if you have the necessary equipment. Both procedures are covered in the book. I still suspect your battery is near the end of its useful life. Chat this over with the folks at your Honda Dealer.

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

SOURCE: headlight low beam is dim but high beam is full force how can this be fixed

Check for corrosion at the low beam connection to the headlight. Yamaha electrical systems are notorious for having more wiring than is actually needed to make things work, so if it has separate grounds for both the high and low beams, check the low beam ground for corrosion or loose connection. Good luck!

The switch, bulb, and battery are ok so why doesn't the headlight of my discover 125 work? Where is the problem?

Hi, Amarendra if your headlight is not working, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn down solder contacts or loose fit of the bulb base in the socket due to vibration.
3. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
4. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
5. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
8. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
9. Weak charging alternator/generator.
10. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier ground or overcharging.

My headlight and horn do not work. The fuses look good and the bulb looks good. Headlight worked before I went out on a ride. It was out by the time I got home.

Driver's headlight is dim; wipers only work if headlight is off

Sounds like the jolt from the barrier has caused a bad ground to occur. Look for a bad ground wire around the left headlamp in or around the headlight bucket.
Tighten or replace the bad ground wire. A poor contact will cause the headlight to light dimly.
