Question about 2004 Yamaha YZ 450 F
Shortly after the bike is started, the exhaust gets very hot and glows bright red, and back fires rapidly. It is very hard to keep it running.
These bikes dont like to idle for very long. If you ride at a reasonable pace, it shouldn't glow for long. If it persists... Your jetting is too lean. Check out thumpertalk.com for a pictorial step by step how to re-jet
