It also depends somewhat on the brand and model of tire, but just a little. There should be somewhere around a 1/2 inch difference in tread width. Why is the lift important?

I have a 2001 pt cruiser needs rims and tires size on it now are235/45/R17 size on chart inside driver door is 195/65/R15 or 205/55/R16 not sure which size to buy please help thankyou

The number after the r is the rim size. According to your post you have 17 inch rims. Stock rims were 15 inches or optional 16 inches. Unless you are putting a different size rim on then you need a17 inch tie to fit your current rim

What size tires are on 2001 buick century

20021 Buick Century Sedan - Tire Size

If you have the standard factory 15 inch (diameter) x 6.0 inch (wide) wheels then the tires fitted were size: 205/70R15 (205 is the tyre width in mm and the 15 denotes the tyre bead diameter in inches for fitting to 15 inch wheels. The R denotes the speed rating of the tire).

The tires currently fitted to the car have the size moulded into the sidewall of the tire.

However I do not know if aftermarket wheels have been put on the car and if so a different size tire from the standard factory fitment may have been fitted to the wheels.

I hope this helps.

26 inch wheel becomes 29 inches when you add on tyre depth ( 1.5 * 2 )
29 x Pi is 91 inches
Computer setting should be 91.2 inch or 2316 mm

FRONT DRIVERS SEAT IS BROKEN HOW DO I REMOVE

There will be bolts going through brackets at or near each of the four corners. The bolts will be going into the floor. Carefully remove the four bolts and the seat will lift out. When you put a different seat in, make certain that the adjusters are aligned properly on each side of the seat when you start to bolt it in.

Will 235/75/r15 tires look ok with a 2 or 3 inch lift?

Were you not planning on increasing the tire size after lifting it? They may look a little small with a 3" lift, its a personal preference. If it was me, I would probably go to a larger tire like 285/75R15 or even 305/75R15. Also remember if you put a bigger tire on this thing the speedometer will be off. It will say your going 55 but you may be going 60. Also bigger tires will change the overall gear ratio. It will increase gas mileage but lower the torque to the wheels.

The flywheel cover needs to be against the back of the oil pan, not on the edge lip of the oil pan.

2001 f 150

Discount tire has a website for different tire sizes and how the sizes affect the speedometer reading. I changed my tires from a 60 to a 65 series and gained about 5% better mileage. Basically my speedo shows 70 and I am doing 74. So I get 4 free miles every 70 miles on the odometer. Too much change will rob you of power.
