The clutch plates are probably rusted. I ride the bike with the clutch lever pulled in until very warmed up and keep blipping the throttle at low speeds in first gear this sometimes releases the stuck clutch.
check the side stand it may, as a lot of bikes do, have a switch to stall the bike when the stand is down to stop you pulling away with it down. these get covered in road dirt and water and do go faulty. hope this helps.
