I just rebuilt the motor and trans and now it dose not have rev. and dies when i put it into gear

Could be a bad torque converter clutch. When they get stuck, the tourque conveter is locked up all the time and will cause the engine to stall when you hold the brake and the trany is in gear. Did you replace the torque converter during the rebuild?

I want to know how tight to tighten the bolts on the clutch pressure plate? Thankyou.

The bolts should be 12 mm. The manufactures don't usually give tightening tourques for the clutch cover but I think if you take them to 23nm you'll be fine. Make sure that you check them for stetch before fitting them and as its a rotating mass, make sure they're all same sizi and wieght. There should be a number on the head of each, check to make sure the same number or symbol appeares on all. Regards Johngee
