SOURCE: Wiring diagram for the Harley Davidson 2007 FXDB

If you are gonna work on your own Harley, shell out the $60.00 for an H-D manual. They have a basic wiring diagram inside.

SOURCE: removing harley davidson ultra classic gas tank

Drain the fuel either by siphening or removing the cross over tube at the front of the tank and letting it drain that way or just block off those cross over lines and leave the fule in the tank for removal.

0) remove seat
1) drain fuel
2) undo cross over line (bottom front of gas tank.
3) shut off pet **** and remove fuel line from pet ****.
4)there should only be 2 bolts holding the tank on, one at the top front of the tank and one at the back of the tank.

All in all a pretty easy (but possibloy messy) job.

SOURCE: assy of starter clutch on 2003 Harley Davidson

The starter on a late model Harley is a typical Nippondenso gear reduction type starter. They are all basically the same except for size.
To replace the starter clutch inside the starter assembly requires disassembly of the starter assembly.

I you will contact me directly, I will scan the procedure and drawings out of a service manual for you.

SOURCE: starter removal on 2004 ultra classic harley davidson

Disconnect battery , remove the outer primary case, pull back the lock tab on the starter jackshaft, unbolt the retainer screw, then remove the two starter bolts from the right side, sometimes you need to loosen the oil tank mounts to get at these, slip the starter and coupler out as a unit, replace the coupler and jackshaft the same way they came out when the new starter goes in, install bolts , retighten the jackshaft bolt and bend over the retainer, install and fill primary case, connect battery thats it buddy

Need diagram to put on starter drive clutch ***.for 1985 1340cc harley

To replace the starter drive clutch on your 1985 model Big Twin, first disconnect the battery. Drain the primary and remove the primary cover. Remove the starter drive shaft that has the clutch on it. Clamp the drive shaft in a vise equipped with soft jaws and remove the nut from the end of the shaft. The nut is the round piece on the end that has two flats for a wrench to fit. It has LEFT HANDED THREADS. Remove the starter drive and replace it with a new unit. Replace the nut using Loctite 271 red and put the starter drive shaft back in. Make sure you purchase a good starter drive clutch. Avoid the Chinese units as they don't hold up very well. If you need a diagram, go to this site. http://www.bikebandit.com/1985-harley-davidson-fxst/o/m1502#sch209973
