Manual how to replace transmision oil

The easiest way to do it would be loosen the transmission oil pan bolts on one side of the pan and work your way around each side of the pan working from one corner. As you work your way around fluid will start to leak from the initial corner. Let the fluid leak out until it is down to the level of the pan. Hold the pan up and finish removing the remaining bolts and then dump remaining fluid still in the pan. Change the fluid filter while you have the pan off and clean the pan and gasket surface and re-install the pan using a new gasket. Then fill with clean fluid and you are good to go.

Oil leak out of tranfer case now transmision is out of oil why did this happen on my freind 1998 ford f150

the oil leaked, either through an oil seal or where the case is joined, also indicating a leak on where either a gasket or gasket sealer should be applied.

refill the oil, drive it and check for where the oil is leaking from.

Replace the oil seal or redo the transmission assembly and ensure that proper gasket sealant is used where needed.

If it is trans fluid the cooler inside your radiator must have a leek. Yes it is possible for it to get itno the trans. Check to see if the fluid is milky.

Oil leaking from behind the motor

if the oil is leaking when the vehicle is running the rear main seal ,between the engine and transmision is leaking. if not maybe there is a oil pressure switch at the back of the engine leaking ,or the valve cover gasket is leaking near the back of the engine , have the engine steam cleaned then you will see where it is leaking ,

Transmision Shifting Problem

Was the fluid you drained red or black? did it smell like trans or gear oil? With linkage disconnected, could you put trans in park by moving the lever on the side of the unit? Oil condition is likely a separate issue...most "blown" transmissions generally have normal operation of shift, it just dosen't do what you tell it to. two things likely going on are: linkage problem and likely in need of fluid/filter change.
