Fzr 600 wont start

A few times this week on cold starting in the morning my 09 plate FZR600 bike wont start. It flashes Hi on the digital temp gauge, and there is a number 53 where the clock should be. After 2 or 3 attempts the bike fires up.

What is the condition and age of the battery? I would start with charging it and checking for holding the charge first if unsure. Then check for other suspects like starter relay/solenoid or starter itself.

SOURCE: 94 yamaha fzr 600. only firing on 1 an 2 cyl

No one thing controls those items.
The ignition and headlight circuits
each have their own fuses under the seat.

If you have power to both of the coil sets
then the coil for cylinder 3 and 4
might be faulty.

Lights may just have a blown fuse.

You have more than one problem
going on there.
