My 2000 e-glide classic HD's odometer needle,

My 2000 e-glide classic HD's odometer needle, milage, quit working. Turn signals quit (auto-off) only, and radio power diminished...I cleaned the sensor & checked wiring in battery tray. Is my problem somewhere else? Fairing maybe?

Check the earth wiring around your fairing and also to your instrumental connections as this May be the cause of your problem

Your turn signal security module, or TSSM is the most likely bad part. Under seat at rear fender

You may have answered your own question, check the connections under the fairing, use a test light probe on the wiring and work backwards until you find problem.

Speedometer, signals not working right fxdwg

Hi Dawson899, always check your instrument fuse before performing the next procedure, try cleaning your speed sensor located on top of the transmissions right side between the top cover and the chrome starter end cap on Twin Cams and on top of the engine case between the rear cylinder and the starter motor for Sportsters. Remove the the bolt that secures the sensor and pull it out of the transmission. Inspect sensor for obvious damage and repace if necessary. If sensor has no damage then wipe clean any obvious contamination like micro fiberous material with a clean rag and reinstall, torque bolt to 8 ft lbs.

2001 Ultra classic 79,000 miles. Cruise control quit on long trip. Radio auto volume stopped. Electric trip odometer inop. No

Hi Dudley, 1992 and later Touring Models, fuel pump fuses and relays will be behind the right side panel, starter and ignition relays will be under the seat behind the battery, everything else will be behind the left side panel to access fuses pull back on the front two locking tabs and slide the cover up. Good luck and have nice day.

I have a 02 electral glide ultra classic that keeps blowing the accessories fuse. as soon as i put a new 15 amp fuse in it blows. turn signals, brake lights and the spped odometer stop working.

In this case, you're going to need a wiring schematic to trouble shoot the problem. You'll have to disconnect the power lead to each device that the fuse provides power to. Then, replace the fuse and start reconnecting the devices one at the time. When you connect a device and the fuse blows, you have found the problem. I do not have schematics for bikes newer than 1999, I'm sorry.

Good Luck

2002 flht speedo stopped working no light no speed no milage also turn signals will not self cancel these two showed up at the same time

I can't think of the name of the part, but I believe the two are related, and run through an electronic gizmo, that reads the speed/mph and shuts offs the blinkers. Turn signal controller maybe?

I have a 1990 hd ultr clasic tour glide. when i use my turn signals my instrument lights and gauges flash. all grounds have been cleaned and look good.

Your turn signals are controlled by the turn signal cancelling unit and the only thing it has to do with the lights and gauges is the power source. Check your "lights" circuit breaker. It sounds like you may have a short circuit somewhere causing the circuit breaker to break and then reset, only to break again. This happening over and over will appear to be a turn signal flashing. Find the circuit breakers, usually under the seat, and listen when you turn the turn signals on. See if you can hear the circuit breaker "clicking". Good Luck!
