Yes it does matter. Your bike either has circuit breakers or fuses. If you connect the wrong wire they will cycle on and off and more than likely create more problems for you. All the wires should be color coded. If there not purchase a clymer manual, trace out your wires and connect the appropriate ones. Question how did the wire get disconnected or sevared? If there is a broken wire you should be able to just connect the wire with no trouble.

Testimonial: "Thank you, I thout so. I have a Honda service manual for 98-02 Shadow aero VT100C3. The connector shorted some how & melted ( I just bought this bike afew days ago) I am going to chase the wire through the harness & from the Reg/Rectifier as I am now checking everything! Thankyou again."

Amp is all hooked up and installed but sub is not making a sound. Problem with sub or amp?

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Double check all connections. GOOD LUCK. A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. Worth fixing.

On ge top load on the pump dose the black wire go on the left or right terminal

Hello Jim and welcome to fixya.

Whenever there are only 2 wires involved and dealing with "AC" voltages the polarity shouldn`t matter, as opposed to "DC" voltages when polarity does matter, but typically with those pumps the black is on the left, white on right.

That should be the answer to get you fixed up. Thanks for coming to "fixya". please take a moment to rate the information provided accordingly.

Good luck.

Windows 98 but want to put usb into tower onto the mother bord but th wires witch order do they go in or dose it matter ie red/white/ black/blue/yellow/green hae to put them onto motherboard pins it is a...

You should have 4 joined pins and 1 black ground for each usb port.
The red wire is for Pin1
White wire is for Pin2
Green is for Pin3
Then you have the Ground wire (black)
The pins on the motherboard are all numbered.

Dont know what the problem is

Check fuel pressure and check for spark and check that the airflow meter is operating, check for timing as well. Check for any wiring problems(loose connections, corrosion, condensation in distributor cap. Check distributor cap+rotor plug wire from coil to distributor. Check for any worn or damaged wiring or bad ground wire contacts. Air, Fuel, Spark and Timing are the key elements for an engine to run.

Not really sure what you are asking. But if you trying to hook the cord up... Green and white go to the middle terminal Then black or red to either side it doesnt matter which.
