The ignition components are getting wet and the Ignition charge is being discharged down the side of the wires and not through the spark plugs are required. The next time it does not start in the wet, try spraying all the spark plug wires with wd40 and if it fires up, replace the ignition wires.

Hi, Fazer and the usual suspects are:
1. Spark plugs in bad condition or have an improper gap or are partially fouled.
2. Spark plug cables in bad condition.
3. Battery nearly discharged, should have 12.5 volts.
4. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
5. Throttle controls not adjusted correctly.
6. Water or dirt in the fuel system.
7. Water or dirt in the carburetor.*
8. Intake air leak.
9. Fuel tank vent hose and vapor valve plugged, or fuel line closed off, restricting fuel flow.*
10. Enricher valve inoperative.*
11. Engine lubricant to heavy (winter operation).
12. Ignition is not functioning properly (possible sensor failure).

What model/type of battery for gillera st 200

Are you talking about a Gilera Runner ST 200? I'm not familiar with a mobility scooter by the name you mentioned. If you do mean the Gilera ST 200 you can find a replacement battery and info on the battery itself on Amazon.

Hi, Saisoku this happens to a lot of bikes and different brands it is usually caused by water getting into the fuel system and/or moisture getting to electronic components, wire connectors, wiring harness. This situation usually clears itself by letting the bike sit for a couple of days in the sun. For more information about your question please click on the blue links below. My 200 pontiac bonniville transmission just quit

it wouldn't hurt to have the filter and fluid changed however the rain water may have gotten in a sensor and disabled the transmission then when it dried out it started working again

Cannot find the spark plug on runner 200

access usually via small removable panels, left or right, roughly by your feet... if not then lift seat, some have removable panel at the bottom of the seat tub underneath. you don't have to remove all the body work, I'm sure of that.
