Question about 2005 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic
Good afternoon, I have a problem. my motor is 2005 an electra glide motor screama eagle, at high speed when I want to accelerate is enpieza to fail. as change you the injectors, thottler posion sensor and continues with the ruling. It has two codes if you have to do is not b1121 b1122

First when you say it bogs, does the motor stutter or does it just go flat? A very good test to determine if the problem is to much fuel or a lean situation is while riding get in top gear with a load on the motor at full throttle. Slowly roll out of the throttle about 1/8th throttle and see if the motor picks up RPM's. I'm suspicious that you may possibly have a plugged air filter or perhaps something blocking the air inlet. Does the bike get worse fuel mileage? Have you checked the valve clearance lately? Tight valves are notorious for the problem you are having. You have to take your bike into a Harley Davidson dealership so they can plug it into the computer and check for trouble codes with your audio system. Sounds like you can still get this done under warranty but hurry up because if you dont have an extended warranty plan your warranty is only good for 2 years.

How are you checking your spark? On the newer computer controlled engines, there is a "compression sensor". If you take the plugs out and try to check for spark like we used to do, you won't get a spark. Put your plugs back in and then use a set of test plugs to check your spark.
If you're still not getting a spark, check for voltage at the primary side of the coil.

The Electra glide bikes usually have the oil tank on the bottom of the transmission. On the bottom of the oil, there are two drain plugs. The one in the center is the transmission drain. The one on the left side a bit forward is the oil drain.

camplate check valve sticking,good time for an upgrade SEcamplate,hydraulic camchain tensioners,high volume oil pump,comes as complete kit for about $420. add another $150 for adjustable pushrods and never worry about it again,or replace the existing component youd save maybe $180 bucks but youll be back
thats why they changed the camplate and tensioners in 07, I just did the complete conversion on an 02 heritage it costed with labor about 1100 in your case your looking at 7 to 800 dollars just to get you going for another 30 or 40,000 miles or less and then do it again Im for a 1 time fix myself
