How do you rebuild a Rockford Fosgate 12 inch P3 subwoofer

Depending on what model of P3 you have, you'll need to order re-cone parts. The subwoofer will have to be stripped down to a bare basket and all glue sanded off and surface clean. Shims will be needed to get the coil in place properly around the pole. Clamps may be needed as well until the glue sets. There are many videos online to show you how.

How do I find a new carburetor

The model number is stamped in the blower housing. You will need the model number to order a new carb. Tecumseh went out of business years ago but many carbs are still available. Hopefully you find your carb stuck in your seat or something but if not you will need the model numbers off the motor.

restart your pc and press F1 immediately the IBM logo'll take you to mainboard settings.reset all settings to default.
As for the language,I think you need a new operating system. If its XP,i recommend service pack 1 as its lighter and runs faster on p3's.

Model 141 husqvarna saw would cut off as soon as i hit the throdle now it will not start

For some reason its running too lean on the mixture, this may be due to a fuel blockage, or it just wants richening up on the mixture screws, start by replacing the fuel filter in the tank, check the fuel hose up to the carb for signs of leaking/cracks or splits, if the carb has standard screws to adjust the mixture, turn each one ( H and L ) out 1/2 turn ( anti clockwise ) on each, if it still does not run any better it may need a carb service. To remove the carb, first remove the two screws securung the air filter, then remove the two 10mm nuts securing the air filter back plate, remove the wire throttle rod, now remove the two cross head screws from the carb back plate into the crankcase, finaly remove the the two 7mm studs securing the carb, remove the fuel hose from the carb elbow ( use a suitable plug to stop fuel sqirting out of the hose a set of forseps works well ) with the carb off remove the single cross head screw in the alloy pump cover, here you will find a gasket and a pump diaphram in that order, there will also be a main fuel screen which will need cleaning or replacment, if the pump diaphram looks aged replace this importent component, now turn the carb over and remove the four screws securing the metering cover, here you will find the metering diaphram and a gasket in that order, replace the diaphram if it looks aged or the metal disc is bent, the metering lever controling the inlet needle should move easily and be set level with the sides of the carb body, if too low just bend it up, if too high bend it down, this is about as much as you can do with the carb without special tools. Whilst the carb is of check the induction rubber, to do this remove the two m4 allen screws holding the carb back plate on, pull the back plate up and out, behind here you will find the induction tube, make sure it has not split, below this tube is the impulse seal check this is seated correctly and not split.
Let us know how you are getting on.

We have P3 running on a Windows XP Sp3 machine. At least once a week this program crashes when the engineer goes to hit the schedule button in P3 it literally freezes everything and the only way to...

I dont think this has much to do with Primavera itself.. Ive experienced this alot on our network with other "older" software applications that are 16 bit programs. First find the launch icon for P3 and right click it, under the compatibility option set it for an older platform "win98". It may be related to how the scheduler allocates memory when it runs. (its probably just the scheduler application part of P3 thats a problem) Might be useful to try and locate scheduler in the P3 program folder and do the compatibility mode setting for its launch icon too. Other causes may be restrictions in place if you are part of a windows domain network (ask your network admin) as group policy settings can prevent 16 bit applications from running. And lastly Ive seen Group policy folder permission settings blocking users from certain windows 16 bit program modules as well, all depending on how the program was made. Talk with your network guy, ask him if you are part of a domain GPO, if yes. look into the permission issue. If this is a Stand alone home style computer, Not joined to any network / domain ect. look at my first few comments. oh ya, also verify DEP "Data Execution Prevention" is not enabled for this program. Hope that helps, please write a comment if you need any clarification on anything above. Gurvy

Look on the side of the carb ,you will find a model number eg keihin cvk30. use this number when ordering replacement carb from the breakers. you will need two identical carbs preferably the same as anything elce will need a lot of setting up and your motor isnt worth tuning with bigger carbs as you will loose out on low end grunt.

Nextar X-11-15302 or P3

A generic 12 volt adapter should work. I replaced mine recently. They usually come with multiple sizes of round ends and can adjust the output voltage. The side of the device will tell you the polarity and the voltage required. If it says something like 5 V but the adapter only has 4.5 V or 6 V, select the closer choice. If they're about equal, select the lower one. It is better to have an under volt than an over volt.

Changing a P3 motherboard for a P4 motherboard

P-4 boards want at least a 300w power supply, P3 were not so picky. Next, swapping boards is easy but remember to stay in the same form factor, (the relative size length and width) a server board won't fit in a micro case.

The location of the stand offs (where the screw holes are) may have to be changed. P4 boards have 20 pin or 24 pin power connectors so the appropriate power supply will need to be ordered. If you are running a lot of peripherals a 450w ps at least.

Now you decide if you want a board with on board, video, nic, sound, etc.

then you have to order the supported processor/heatsink and fan/thermal grease/supported Ram etc.

I've been doing this for years so i probably left out a lot.

Lately because of costs I've resorted to backward building.
I decided since DDR2 is cheap, find a board that supports that ram in a processor socket I want to use (socket 478-775) etc.
