SOURCE: fuse location on tv

a fuse is a small glass tube about 3/4" to 1". it is located near the end of the power cord inside the tv. it is located in the power board supply circuit. there are several reason why fuse blew up. 1. sudden surge current/voltage in your area 2. shorted in either power supply or horizontal deflection circuits. when replacing fuse, be sure to change it with the same value. but if after replacement has been done and the fuse blew again, there is a short in the circuit as stated in reason no. 2. refer to a qualified service technician if you are not inclined with this job. good luck!

SOURCE: 1989 volvo gl 740 speedometer and odometer

Your problem is NOT a fuse. The speedometer receives an electronic signal from an analogue transmitter mounted in the rear differential. It's the little button in the rear diff with two wires attached to it. Check to see if the wiring is chaffed or broken. If not, then it's probably the transmitter. A competent mechanic should be able to replace one for less than 200.00, parts and labor. If this does not fix it, then the problem is in the head, which can be expensive. You might get a used head if you can get a 90 day guarrantee on the part from the salvage company.

Good Luck!

SOURCE: fuse location

There is not a fuse listed for heated seats but fuse 16 is for heated mirrors and fuse 11 is power seats. i'm guessing one of those should also control the heated seats.

SOURCE: The spedometer and odometer have stopped working,

it may or may not be a fuse, you can tell if it is blown if the wire in the middle is broken. on my harley the speedometer has a wire that is run to the front wheel with a bearing and a little notch in it for the metal clip to slide into. happened to me after i got new tires put on. took the tire off and slid the clip back in and worked fine!
