The fuel pump for my 00' moto guzzi Jackal had a toggle switch for power, the wire came loose and I don't know where it went. How do I power the fuel pump?

Moto Guzzi 2001 California Neutral light not working Please refer to additional detail

Hi, Frank I would have to agree on your diagnosis and theory and here's what I would do:
1. Remove the neutral switch and using smoke and mirrors especially mirrors, if necessary, shine a flashlight in the hole to view the detent/lug situation.
2. If that looks ok then spray the sh*t out of the neutral switch with carb cleaner, while depressing the spring loaded plunger 3-4 times then blow dry with compressed air.
3. If that doesn't work buy a new switch.
