Sounds like a clutch issue, If You have a CVT clutch, then you either need too replace your belt/ check for proper tensioning of the belt system/ make sure the cvt mechanicals are moving/functioning properly, If its not a CVT clutch, Your due for a new clutch set.

My kx 80 (1992) starts and revs up nice but wen put into gear it hardly moves, the heavyer the person trying to ride it the less it goes, when I lift the back wheel off the floor (no pressure on engine)...

Front wheel drag (locked brake).Bad tire air pressure. If not,is carburetor cloged, need to drain (bolt under) or remove to clean. If the motor revs in the gear ,the clutch slip.Could be bad clutch cable tension or need replace clutch/cable.

Hyosung avitar 650 wont stay running

Maybe this will help. This is a common problem that I have had with my GV250. Almost the same bike mechanically by Hyosung.

If the battery is low on charge and you are lucky enough for the bike to start. As per normal when first started it revs higher because the bike is cold, this turns the alternator fast to give you the electricity you need to keep the bikes computer working properly. Bike will warm up and revs drop down, alternater not turning as fast, not as much electricity being made. Bike will either stall or rev up and down irradically to try to produce its own electricity. This will occur when the battery charge is low and bike is at low revs, for example when you slow down for traffic or you stop.

If this is your problem. To resolve it when you are out on the road, keep the revs up, twisting your throttle gently when you are going slow or stopped. Give the bike a good long run on the open road to give the battery some charge from the alternator.

Make sure your battery is maintained. If you dont use your bike for a while it will lose charge just sitting there doing nothing. Give the battery a good deep cycle charge or take the bike for a good long open road ride.

Chane slack

Slacken the wheel nut a couple of turns ,then simply adjust tension with the chain adjusters at the rear of the swingarm legs. Look carefully you will see notches marked on both sides of the swingarm by the wheel spindle these must be the same on both sides, your manual will tell you the chain slack for your bike.probably about 25-35mm put a ruler up to the chain and using finger pressure push up on the chain ,this is the chain slack. Once done tighten the wheel nut up to correct torque setting.( manual or call local dealer),then replace split pin with new through the wheel nut. Double check all your work no loose nuts, then sit on the bike get a friend to wiggle the chain there should be small slack as first meashured 25-35mm again, if not re-try,once experienced you will do it first time.

Have a small 110 cc quad bike which starts and idles, but as soon as load is put on to rear wheels, engine loses power and won't rev out.Not sure whether this has something to do with centrifigal clutch or...

Definitely clean your carburetor, and do it very thoroughly... Try lifting the rear wheels off the ground and revving it, or rev it with the choke on, see if that helps. If either of those help you are definitely starved of fuel (or air), but most likely fuel. Good luck

Yamaha neos wont go over 20mph

Check the voltage coming out of the magneto to make sure its up to spec. Having a low voltage output will cause all kinds of problems in low rpm and dissapear when your revs get high enough.

Bike idles, but with a little throttle it jumps to high rev and wont come back down to idle

You need to oil your cables first....They make a gadget to help you do this...it clamps around the end of the cable, and you spray oil into a provided hole for a spray nozzle tube...Then see if the cables are unstuck by turning the throttle grip back and forth for awhile....start it and see if that helped....if not you may need to replace the cable(s)...I doubt that the slide in the carb is hanging up...or valve. If this doesn't work notify me.
