2009 Ducati 996 - been left in garage for 7 months un ridden. Battery charger says battery ok, turn ignition key and absolutely nothing - all dead. BIke was working fine when last used. Tried hooking up to car battery - still nothing. Any ideas?

Try jumping it again, make sure its not an eletrical problem. At all cost go to a local repair shop.

Ducati 996 is spluttering andt he rev counter needle jumps only when i do longer rides?

If the bike runs fine until its warm then ecu should be ok. If you haven't serviced it for a while check the fuel filter, notorious for affecting injector pressure. Electrics: check battery and ignition coils (can show problems when hot) I have a cool ecu recommendation for the 996 ping me here and I can give you details if you want?

I left the key in the ACC position of the 2009 Buick Enclave for 3 hours. When I came back to the car, the rear tail lights were on, the key was stuck, everything electrical was dead and the Malfunction...

Most likely, you just have a dead battery. Once your battery reaches a critically low point, the electronics simply go nuts... lights won't turn off, etc. until it's absolutely dead. Just try putting a battery charger on the it or use a safe jump starting technique- you should be fine.

Good luck.
