Alarm system isnt allowing me to turn over, after about 5 min if finally lets it start. Meanwhile the lights are going off on the alarm. Could that be a low battery?

try using your KEY at the drivers door , many are linked to it.... doing this twice............. turn key to the left / pause turn it to the right / pause... should help reset it .

I suspect you have to use a unique code to do that. Get in touch with your local Ford agent.

Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward all the way just before cranking. Then within 5 seconds, locate, press and hold in the valet/overide button, found under the dash area, (push button, spring loaded) until the installed LED (the blinking light) in your dash area goes on solid, and the siren chirps once. (Your valet switch might be the toggle (on/off) type. in this case, key on, flip switch in opposite direction, then turn the key off.) This should reset the alarm, and reset the grounded relay on the starter wire, allowing you to start the engine. At this point, the only thing working would be the keyless entry from the alarm, if it came equipped that way. Just Repeat these steps to place it back to usable armed mode. You may get 2 chirps, confirming it, and the lights may flash twice as well

Can you or somebody you know disconnect the alarm completely?

Run a sensor test on system. Enter your code then 5 + 0. Be aware that if you have a a siren it will go on for a second. Let test run for about 3-5 min or until it resets. GL.

Yes the best way is disarm the alarm and put in a Valet Mode
To activate the Valet Mode do the following:

There is a push button or toggle switch to disable the alarm (to engage the valet mode). Without knowing where this
switch is you won't be able to disconnect the alarm.

1. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position.
2. Flip the toggle or hold the push button for at least 5 seconds.
3. The LED. light will stay solid on.
4. Turn the ignition off
5. Release the push button. If you have a toggle leave it alone in step 2

try disconnecting the batterie the red cable and let it set for about 5 min then connect the batterie and try it then

sometimes turning the ignition on 3 times quickly without starting will reset the computer. If the van has power locks and keyless entry then try using only the keyless entry. Sometimes your car wont have a alarm but an anti theft device which will not allow it to start if it goes off or something triggers it.

no you might need to replace the ignition switch

disconnect your battery for six Min's and re attach the post clips. this will reset the alarm board function. if the problem persist, the theft system is failing and will unfortunately have to be replaced or deactivated.
