I need to know the torque of the camshaft of the hyundai elantra 2011 motor 1.8
camshafts don't have torque. the answer you really want depends on the question you are asking. you need to clarify:

1- are you asking about torque generated at the CRANKSHAFT?
2- which country are you in? this dictates your engine specs
3- are you asking about the torque applied to the camshaft hold down button?

We need that kind of info.

We're not experts that even know if your engine is
an interferance type,you have to tell us. That is why
I guess the mechanic is expecting major damage from
a broken belt

The shop still has to look inside the cylinders with the
proper camera they probalby don't have or ever heard
of ,to look for damage

They have to do a cylinder leak down test for valve damage

If everything is good & you got lucky,then you replace the
water pump,all idler pulleys,tensioners & the broken belt

hyundai sonata 2000, windscreen wipers stopped working today, rev counter stopped working about a month ago, not relay, dont even know where motor is for windscreen wipers
motor for wipers is usually in the centre of windshield mounted on outer firewall in the engine compartment just below the windshield...If your are talking about your Tachometer it could be a cable that hooks into engine..... ask your local Hyundai dealer re this
