Remove the Fuel hose from the carburetor keep the hose in a transparent bottle now keep the tap in main now check the flow of the petrol for a while now check the same in reserve. If you flow any problem in the flow then do the process as per the 1st person solution. If there is no problem in flow then check the carburetor float and the float pin. While checking if you fine any water content in the carb then remove all the petrol from the tank and keep it dry then add new fuel and check.

Fuel Gauge stuck

Hi, Saurabh you could have a faulty sending unit or gauge, there could be a problem with your wiring. On models with the fuel gauge posing as a left-hand fuel cap the gauge is a press fit do not try to unscrew it, simply ample force lift up in a rocking motion to remove gauge. Disconnect wires to the gauge and with a set of positive and negative jumpers from the battery connect the positive jumper and flash the negative, gauge should peg full, if not replace the gauge. With a test light check for power to the sending unit, then remove the sending unit and manually operate the float arm slowly with the correct wiring hooked up to the fuel gauge and sending unit and the ignition on, the gauge should respond accordingly if not replace the float arm assembly. If your fuel gauge registers the incorrect amount of fuel in the tank you can try bending the float arm the necessary amount for a more accurate reading. Idling speed of my bajaj pulsar 180 seems to be fast even at 1000rpm. Its Nov 2007 Model and has done only 2300 kilometers. I got it serviced recently. DoI need to clean/replace idling jet/main Jet etc.

It requires servicing. The tick over adjustment should have been carried out during the service.
Take it back and get it adjusted. If it is naturally asperated with a carburetter it is a minor adjustment by way of a screw, if fuel injested, set up is acheived through the ECU.
Hope that helps.

My pulsar 180 has noise engine . what to do

It could be a simple timing issue or even bad fuel. Check out your fuel.Mix or straight fuel? If mix, chk oil to fuel ratio. If straght gas, up the octane. Good luck, Ned
