It sounds like (no pun intended) your cooling fan is coming on and putting an additional load on the electrical system. The cooling or radiator fan is usually behind the radiator. Be careful when poking around there as some motorcycles are wired where the fan can come on at any time it thinks the engine is getting warm - even if the key is out and the bike is off. If your battery is old and not able to charge as well, or your charging system is having issues, or the fan motor is dying and requiring extra current to move, those symptoms you described could be the result.

Power steering reservour may have plugged screen. Fluid flows better when warmer weather thus, no noise of starving power steering. Have a look at this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QjBLYltLYY

What would cause the head lights and instrument panel to flicker on a 2009 dodge journey

The headlight switch might be the reason the headlights are flickering. Pls try to turn off headlights and see if the instruments still show strange behavior.
If the problem persists, try pulling fuses (one at a time) to see if you can find the circuit which is causing the problem. There might be intermittent shorts / no connection in a circuit other than headlights.

Flickering headlights, tailights , and dash lights

Sounds like just a bad switch, replacing it should solve the problem. however, check the ground strap that is attached to the firewall to give all the body electrics a ground. they get dirty and need to be cleaned,

Why are the headlights and dash lights flickering?

If the warning light for your heating and cooling system is coming on, you need to take it to a good mechanic to check it out before something worse happens. if lights are just flickering, you could have an electrical problem/wiring problem. You will also need a professional to look at this in my opinion.

Loud whirring noise going into rinse cycle. Low

Hi tuck just read your posting. Now on the low whirring noise on the start of the rinse cycle ,Is it when the machine is draining the water or filling with water. If the noise happens when the machine is draining then I think either your pump has something slowing it down or it is faulty. Please look underneath the machine to the front right and you should see a red or black fan .If you do then this is your pump.If you don't see a fan you must have the newer style of pump. Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you rectify this problem

Whirring noise

HELLO, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I WENT TO THE DEALER AND WHEN THE CAR WAS MAKING THAT WHIRLING SOUND, HE UNSCREWED THE OIL CAP AT THAT MOMENT AND THE NOISE WAS GONE. IT WAS THE PCV VALVE AND THE HOUSING(DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS) THAT NEEDED REPLACING. SO TRY UNSCREWING THE OIL CAP WHEN THE NOISE IS PRESENT. IF IT GOES AWAY THEN YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE PCV VALVE NEEDS REPLACEMENT. IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD, TRUSTING MECHANIC THAT CAN DO THIS FOR LESS THAN 350.00, YOUR GOOD. THE DEALER CHARGED ME 650.00 FOR THIS. GOOD LUCK.
