You have a fuel problem not a electrical one as I see. You have insuficient gasoline pressure. As I read over the internet your bike's model was recalled because a fault with the fuel pump. You should check that. Read that link:

SOURCE: doesn't get spark to plugs

f you didn't already try to replace the plugs with new ones i would start with that. Remember that you have to touch the spark plug to metal to test it out. Other wise it will not be properly grounded and will not spark. They could have to much carbon build up on them or the gap could not be properly set or worn down. I assume that you have already tried this so the next thing i would do is find a wiring schematic and follow the wires from the battery to the primary coil and make sure that the coil is getting a good flow of electicity. If you are not take you volt meter to each wire the positive and negitive and make sure you dont have a break in the wire. Also check and make sure that the ground itself is not loose. if that is fine move to the secondary coil and do the same thing. Then finally check the wire that goes from the secondary coil to the spark plug. If you can give me the year make and model i might be able to find you a wiring schematic.
I hope this was helpful,
Feel free to email me at if you have any more questions.

Sounds like it may be time for a valve adjustment,or it may have jumped timing. Is it backfiring or anything when you try to start it?

How can I determine why my Victory won't start?

Hi ,When dont use the bike, remember the gas have little particles that land deep tank, carburetor, hose , and gas filter , those particles remove too ,cleaning with air or solvent the gas filter ( under tank) ,gas bolts ( into carburetor) , injection system ( on the case) . Other option is engine service every short time , if all around (weather , gas station, ways) are very dusty. Good Luck

Rear cylinder not firing on victory vegas

I've had that problem several times, and luckily one of the spark plug wires had shorted out each time. I've always been a big fan of getting the factory service manual for all my bikes-here's the one for your 2006 Vegas, not a bad price either (19.95) considering the paper manual is 135.00 and takes 3 weeks to get! I have a 2006 Kingpin with stage one. Victory down loads newinfo to onboard engine control modual, for remapping. I am not a big fan. What you need is an independant fuel proccesor, so you can fine tune all the pots. This will really put a smile on your face. Cant figure out the whole choke process on my 2007 victory 8-ball. i can get it started okay and take off, but it seems like it will always die at the worst places......intersections. then its hard to get...

Pull your plugs and "read" them, look closely at the color of the this you can determine what kind of fuel/air mixture you're getting. A light color will indicate a lean condition, black would be rich to fouling, wet no spark---ideally they should be a dark brown if the fuel mixture is correct. You have EFI on this bike, so flooding should not be a problem unless the computer messes up or the spark is inadequate to fire the plug. Start by replacing the plugs and see how she runs...sometimes this is all they need. I hope this helps.

My yz wont start, changed spark plug it ran for 1/2hr then died

Couple things- 1. If the plug was dirty after 1/2 hour you have either the wrong heat range plug(too cold) or 2. a fuel/carb issue. Buy a hotter NGK plug, ask for help the numbers don't always make sense. Use only full synthetic 2 stroke (I always liked bel-ray) and fresh 93 octane fuel. When you find a plug that works good buy a case of them, 2 stokes will foul plugs period. And some advice with your solution, never head into the woods without a spare plug, they will foul at the absolute worst time.

My 50cc mini bike starts then dies 5 secs after starting. why?

It sounds like you may have 2 problems

  • Bad gas
  • dpossible loose spark plug( bad compression)

dump out the gas put new in
Remove the spar plug and examine the plug if it is wet and black it is fouled
if it is white ad dry it is not getting gas

If you can replace the spark plug if not just clean it with a wire brush put back in and tighten

Finally make sure the spark plug wire is not lose

Best of luck to you
