How much oil to 1000 km?
You have some white-blue smoke behind when engine is warm?
Also check when is cold with some revs up.

My car ran low on oil and shut off while driving.i then did an oil change on it but it is now having trouble starting?

The engine is probably dieing. Running low on oil is not good, but when the engine dies, it is way worse. This will eat up all the bearings on the crankshaft. If you have low miles, get a crank kit and replace the crank and bearings. You'll have to pull the engine to do this. If it has high miles, find a good used engine to put in it.

In diesel engines when the engine starts blowing it means the engine is almost gone so it does when its overheated, your engine is eating mobil oil and will not cut off if its eating oil. your engine is bad now if you want to run it for a few days here is what you do

you should remove the blow overflow pipe from the intake side i.e which goes from the engine blow to the air intake side and hang it to the bottom of the engine it will blow out the blown oil into the air and your engine will cut off easy no problems but remember it will eat oil so keep it top up if bows up more oil put a plastic bottle at some place in the engine compartment and put the other end of the pipe in it when the bottle is filled in a day or two put it back in the engine and top up

or get the engine rebuilt do let me know when it works(eagleeye_12345@yahoo.com)
YES it sure works

I have a mazda 6 2 litre diesel eating oil, what

Mazda say that if your Mazda 6 consumues less than a litre every 900 miles then it within tolerance.
However these cars have a complicated induction mechanism controld by lots of diffrent vacume pots that are inturn controlled by servos, when any one of these becomes faulty the pressure balance between the exhaust side of the turbo and the inlet side becomes inbalanced, resulting in oil being forced through the turbos bearings. Its that simple lol!
The first thing I would check would be the swirl control valve, In the inlet manifold, This gets fouled up by the exhaust gases getting recycled by the egr valve(exhaust gas recycler)
Sooty deposits mix with oil coming from your turbo and jam it closed restricting the amount of air into the engine, and reducing power as well as creating black smoke from your exhaust.
So my advice would be to get your egr valve proffetionally blanked off, and have your induction system checked over.
Hope this helps as I am sure this is a very common problem!

I have a mazda 6 2 litre diesel eating oil, what oil do I put in? The oil light keep flashing the Mazda people told me it was the oil switch had that replaced and still eating the diesel like mad. The car...

Check your owners manual for the grade and type of oil. Probably a CD4 15W40. Make sure you use oil specifically designed for diesel engines...just any old oil will not work. Also, stick with one brand; each oil manufacture puts different additives which "flush" out of the engine when a different brand is used. It may take a couple of changes with the same brand, but you should see a decrease in oil comsumption.

My mower has 53 hrs on it and it would backfire when turnig it off now it just eats engine oil

backfire will be normal if shuting engine off at full throttle. Idle engine down as low as it will go before shuting off and that should stop the backfire. Look under motor at pulley area and make sure there are no oil leaks, if not you have an internal engine problem rings or valve seals.

Can Gas in in oil hurt my engine

Yes it can. The gas will thin out the oil and you may spin a crank bearing, and the gas will also eat away your engine seal's causing a premature rebuilt. Change the oil and filter as soon as you can and change it again after 3,000 miles. Good luck and how did you get gas in your gas tank??
