Question about 2010 Peugeot VClic 50

Trying to reassemble kick start assembly for a vclic 50cc. kick start doesn't return and not sure what position the kick-start pedal sits on the pinion. Cant seem to get the return spring to operate correctly. It was fine before I removed the crankcase cover. The main problem is getting the thing to run properly.I know these chinese motors are a bit naff so am expecting copious amounts of grief! Many thanks for your help :>

either the clutch has gone or the belt has snapped take the side cover of the bike and you will see if the belt has broken if its the clutch and you are not confident to handle this then you will need to take it to a garage

Reduced engine power message

You don't say what make an model vehicle ! But with most vehicle makes it has to do with the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System , electronic throttle control ! are you having reduced engine power ? There are probably DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the PCM - engine computer .
The throttle actuator control (TAC) system is used to improve emissions, fuel economy, and driveability. The TAC system eliminates the mechanical link between the accelerator pedal and the throttle plate. The TAC system eliminates the need for a cruise control module and idle air control motor. The following is a list of TAC system components:
The accelerator pedal assembly includes the following components:

The accelerator pedal

The accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1

The APP sensor 2

The throttle body assembly includes the following components:

The throttle position (TP) sensor 1

The TP sensor 2

The throttle actuator motor

The throttle plate

The engine control module (ECM)

The ECM monitors the driver demand for acceleration with 2 APP sensors. The APP sensor 1 signal voltage range is from about 0.98-4.16 volts as the accelerator pedal is moved from the rest pedal position to the full pedal travel position. The APP sensor 2 range is from about 0.49-2.08 volts as the accelerator pedal is moved from the rest pedal position to the full pedal travel position. The ECM processes this information along with other sensor inputs to command the throttle plate to a certain position.
The throttle plate is controlled with a direct current motor called a throttle actuator control motor. The ECM can move this motor in the forward or reverse direction by controlling battery voltage and/or ground to 2 internal drivers. The throttle plate is held at a 7 percent rest position using a constant force return spring. This spring holds the throttle plate to the rest position when there is no current flowing to the actuator motor.
The ECM monitors the throttle plate angle with 2 TP sensors. The TP sensor 1 signal voltage range is from about 0.5-4.25 volts as the throttle plate is moved from 0 percent to wide open throttle (WOT). The TP sensor 2 voltage range is from about 4.45-0.7 volts as the throttle plate is moved from 0 percent to WOT.
The ECM performs diagnostics that monitor the voltage levels of both APP sensors, both TP sensors, and the throttle actuator control motor circuit. It also monitors the spring return rate of both return springs that are housed internal to the throttle body assembly. These diagnostics are performed at different times based on whether the engine is running, not running, or whether the ECM is currently in a throttle body relearn procedure.
Every ignition cycle, the ECM performs a quick throttle return spring test to make sure the throttle plate can return to the 7 percent rest position from the 0 percent position. This is to ensure that the throttle plate can be brought to the rest position in case of an actuator motor circuit failure. Observe, under cold conditions, the ECM commands the throttle plate to 7 percent with the ignition ON and the engine OFF to release any ice that may have formed on the throttle plate.

I replaced a broken starter cord and when I reassemble the starter won't turn. Any ideas?

Remove for the n-th time the pull start assembly. Confirm the engine will in fact rotate by hand. Turn the flywheel a full turn or more ensuring that the engine is free. You should expect to feel some resistance from the compression cycle.

Holding the hand crank assembly attempt to pull the pull-cord and observe that the hub rotates. When released the spring returns the cord and handle into the wound position.

If the cord will not pull or operate as expected then remove and reassemble the cord into the pulley making sure that the knot retaining the cord is small enough and does not interfere with the operation. U-tube has several videos showing how to assemble the cord to the hub.

Rear brake pedal doesnt return to position. How do I take this apart to add lubricant. Does it screw in to the mount or can it be tapped out with a punch

this is not something for the inexperienced there are many things that could cause your problem i would recomend removing the master cylinder and pedal assembly as a unit then punch out the clevis pin after removing the cotter pin and disaaemble the master cylinder have a new rebuild kit on the ready and see if you can determine the cause of the piston not returning all the way ie contamination of fluid swollen o-ring and or cup or pitted bore mixing dot 3 with dot 5 brake fluid can be disaterous get a service manual if the bore is not to bad it can be polished clean all parts with brake clean and reassemble using dot 5 or higher brake fluid to lube all rubber parts do not skimp on the rebuild kit suggest factory parts do not reassemble a pitted bore reinstall unit a bleed system thourghly make sure you have at least 1/8" freeplay between rod and piston do not be affraid to box it and take the master cylinder to a dealer or qualified shop if your not comfortable with what your doing a pedal not returning means the pads are not fully retracting and the heat build up could warp your disc or even worse cause the caliper to lock up suddenly on the disc. if you do this yourself after you are all finished and a srong hard fuuly retracted pedal check the thickness of your brake pads replace if there islest than 1/16" and make sure the wheel spins freely with no drag take short local trips untill you are confident everythig is ok gooooooood luuuuuck

Car doesn;t turn over 2000 ford mustang

There is a switch on the Brake pedal or on the Clutch pedal(If equipped) that prevents cranking the engine if the pedal is not pressed while trying to start the car.

Often this switch gets hit by the Driver's feet and either loosened or broken. Another thing to have checked is the Battery. The Antitheft may kick in if the Battery is weak.

I had to disassemble the tool-less blade clamp on my Ridgid reciprocating saw. When I reassembled it the retention pin no longer moves back and forth when I flip the blade change lever (not sure if...

The spring loaded clamp sleve mechanically holds the blade pin down to hold the blade in place. It doesn't pull it up to release the blade but simply lets the pin float freely so the blade can be removed.

Renault megane does not appear to have any air in the system but the clutch pedal will not return

check the pressure plate and clutch disc,, you may have a bad assembly and need a new clutch ,, I know thats never a good thing to hear, But in most cases if the pedal stays on the floor and won't return to the upright position, thats the problem,, BUT,,, check the system itself to make sure any other pieces of the assembly aren't loose, Misaligned, or broken (ie, clutch cable, In instances where one is present , or a bad contact point for the throw out bearing arm )

Take the case into which the kickstart goes in, I believe that your kickstarter gear (the small gear found at the other end of the kickstarter, behind the case) has gone out of it's position, thus locking itself in position.
