Bike would not start.

If you are hearing the clicking sound that means that your starter motor's relay is trying to engage. Probably you don't have enough juice in your battery. Charge your battery very good and give it a try again. If still nothing happens then you must take out the starter motor and have it repaired. That spinning sound also suggests to take a closer look to your starter motor and your starter clutch which is located behind the stator's rotor.

I have a 2005 harley davidson fatboy and my problem is that when i try to start the bike it clicks really loud ?, the volts on my battery are 12.80, but when i put the bike on the 200 amp engine start it...

You cannot go by a volt meter reading to tell whether your battery is good or not. The battery will read 12 volts and still not have enough current to light a decent bulb on your bike. This is because the volt meter is designed not to load the battery down. You starter puts a tremendous load on the battery. I'd also avoid using the "boost" or "jump start" position on the battery charger. You can get a voltage spike from those things and take out some expensive electronics on your bike. Take the battery out of the bike and take it somewhere that can "load test" the battery.

Good Luck

Why can I not get my bike started first time. It

When they are cold it is harder to start a bike. I wouldn't worry about how many time it takes to get the bike started. Use the choke and give it a little bit of throttle when you go to start it when the engine is cold. Sorry can't help on the owners manual.

Bike sometimes will not start. then will die

Check the igintion switch tracing the wiring for the pump..there could be a problem there....a contact problem.
Not a bad idea to spray WD-40 to the contact point of the switch.
Hope this helps!
