SOUND LIKE ALTERNATOR NOT WORKING.FIRST TURN OFF RADIO TO KEEP FROM LOCKING IT OUT WHEN DISCONNECTING NEGATIVE BATTERY.REMOVE ALTERNATOR HAVE IT TESTED.BEFORE REMOVING ALTERNATOR MAKE SURE DRIVE BELT HAS NOT WORKED LOOSE OR BROKEN.
the alternator stator is fried along with other internal parts since jumping the vehicle. Always disconnect the alternator when jump starting. That is why it dies out. Replace battery and alternator to run correctly
Your battery has gone flat due to non charging by alternator.
Or it could be a bad or connection on power circuit, check main fuses etc, find out where power is going.

Battery is dead... get a volt meter, jump the car and with the car running on its own power check the voltage, anything less than 12v could point to an alternator but a new battery is a better place to start. put it to you this way if the car shuts off while driving, then its your alt, and if its fine wen drivin but wont start back up... its all battery
clicking usually sounds like a starter sometiimes when they start going bad it gets stuck that's why u only hear clicking, try tapping it with a steel bar or something it worked for me wen my car was doing that, and what u mentioned about the battery it might be that is not holding charge even if u try jump starting it
Actually it's probably the alternator. You can jumpstart a car with a dead battery and keep it running because once it's started the alternator generates the power to keep your car running and it recharges your battery. Then your accessories run off your battery.
I would go to autozone and have them do a free check on your alternator and battery but i'd put money on it that it's your alternator.
One question when you played your music in the car did you ever play it loudly? If you heard a whining in the background of your music when your engine was revving up then you had an alternator that was going bad.
