Hi Anonymous, try spraying a little starting fluid into the are cleaner if the bike fires up and runs for a few seconds and dies then you have a fuel problem, for more information on your question please visit the websites below and good luck:

Have you changed the fuel filter?. It's in the gas tank. Can you hear fuel pump run and turn off when ignition is turned on?

Clogged fuel injectors would be the most likely issue if it sat a long time, but it could be many things. Pull the plugs to make sure they're not fouled up, then crank it to verify it's getting spark. If they check ok try a squirt of starting fluid to see if it'll fire up. If it does run, hit it with a dose of Techron fuel additive to help clean up the injectors. I usually go at least double the recommended strength for dirty injectors and you can go higher without damage.

2005 HD VRod, Put in a new fully charged battery, cranks fast but will not start. Will fire on ether, has fuel pressure via pressure relief/test valve.


Check and see what codes may be set. Has the bike sat for a long time. Is it possible you have a plugged fuel filter. Can you hear the fuel pump run up when the key is switched on. You will need also to do a real fuel pressure test as fuel pressure is critical for EFI. You could also check to see if the injectors are getting electrical current at all. You can purchase a speciall test light to plug into the injector harness at the injector to see if it lights up when the engine is turning over. What is the history of the bike and the problem before the present problem??? POST again with more information.

Bike running rough at lower revs


If the bike sat without being used over the winter It could be bad gas. if gas sits without being used for an extended period of time it destabilizes and gums up carborators and fuel injectors, you need to add a fuel stabilizer to gas when storing for winter. To fix the problem the gas has to be drained from tank, then refil with fresh gas and appropriate amount of carborator/fuel injector cleaner/treatment. Then start the bike and let it run it should clean itself out and start running smooth. If bike did not sit unused for winter its possible they installed the wrong plugs sometimes they talk you into spending more money on platinum or split fire/gimmick plugs (always use the exact same plug that came in the bike when it was new!!!!!)

There is no reason why it cannot be started, although you may have a bit of a difficulty doing this. As a precaution replace all the gas with fresh gas and try clear the carb/injector.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE WIRES ON THE RIGHT PLUGS.YOU MAY NEED TO GET THE CODES SCANNED TO NARROW DOWN YOUR PROBLEM BUT I THINK IT'S A FIREING ORDER PROBLEM.IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE THEN DO A COMPRESSION TEST ON THE MOTOR TO SEE IF YOU NEED TO GO DEAPER.

Start 99 f-250 gas


Make sure battery is up and engine turn over good give it a shot of starting fluid if it starts and dies you are getting spark, then check your fuel system,like fuel pump fuel filter

06 m50 sat for approx 6 months charged the battery won't start.


from your description, i would sugest you make sure fuel is getting to the injector unit, remove the fuel supply hose.if you have spark at the plugs and fuel getting to the injectors you have isolated the problem. i would also drain the old fuel when you take the hose off and fill the tank with high grade fuel. bikes dont like old gas.

1986 Kawasaki Ninja won't fire


Theres fuel starvation, the carbs are not getting required fuel in other words the float chambers doesnt get the correct amount of fuel .
Check the fuel flow from the petcock to the carburators.
Check the float pin and adjust accordingly to get the right level inthe float chamber of each carburator.

2008 S4RS won't start


Fuel injected right? Sounds like you have some fuel injector issues now that the gas has varnished them up. Use stabilizer in the fuel anytime the bike will sit that long without being ridden.

2001 ford taurus p0301 and p0303


You are mis fireing on cyl 1 and 3 if you replaced plugs and wires and coil this is going to be a fuel injector issue or valve issue. See if you can swap the injectors with known good cyl. and see if it changes. Or have a shop do a fuel injector service on it to see if it helps. It may be to late for the fuel injector service.
