If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. 6 VE 1 oil leak top right timing belt cover

6ve1 engines are non interference and therefore will not bend valves and is why it uses a rubber timing belt.. leaks from top right hand side are likely the head gaskets on that side or the cam sprocket into the head seal has failed .. no biggie

I need to seal my juki machine oil leak

hi there
you must know oil leak from where? if it's coming from hand wheel side you just need to replace oil seal who behind the hand wheel - if it's coming from hook side you just need to Decrease the amount of oil from black plastic screw at down place ( near from hook ) at left side.
best regards

Hi, I have a fiat doblo cargo 2003, leaking oil. When I park up - the oil drips closer to (but not right at) the front of vehicle, and to the left hand side (drivers' side) - could this be the oil...

Try wiping the engine off in that area with some rags, then watch for where the oil leak comes from. If it's the filter seal, you should see oil on the filter dripping off.

Changing oil filter

This is one of the easiest jobs in carland. Find a round metal container on the engine block, usually on the side or bottom. Get yourself and oil filter wrench to loosen it and spin if off by hand. When you are ready to put in a new one, clean the contact area on the engine where the filter screws in and rub some CLEAN oil on the new filters gasket.HAND TIGHTEN the new filter only. If after you change the oil the filter leaks a bit, GENTLY use the oil filter wrench to tighten the filter, BE VERY GENTLE DOING THIS, as you can strip the thread easily, and then you are in a world of poop. Gentle is the key word here and patients.

Where is oil pressure switch on vw passat 1.8T 2001 Y plate?. and how do i change it?

it is on the rear of the engine, on the left hand side. it leaks oil a lot and sometimes the switch goes bad too. by left hand side i mean the left of the vehicle, not your left if you are looking at the engine from the front. you replace it from up top. it is iether just below the head on the block, or on the head itself.

Oil leak

can be a little more specifice as to where ? and from where ?

all oil leaks must be repaired usually with silicon or a gasket of some sort some can be easy DIY and some may require the complete removal of the engine.
