There should be an adjusting screw to change the angle at which your headlight points. You will have to look around the headlight for this. You may even have to remove a panel to get to it. Do you have the owners manual for this scooter? It should specify in there how to adjust it.

Adjust headlights

the bulbs are pre-set in focus and if fitted correctly in the head light assembly they will be focused and adjusted correctly. Try adjusting the whole head light assembly by the 3 screws / adjusting knobs at the back of the assembly to aim the head lights correctly.

How do I change a headlight unit in a ford focus as I cannot find the bolts

Open your hood and look at the headlight assembly from inside the hood. You will see screws that you can loosen to get the headlight covers off, and the bulbs should just be "screwed" in the headlight units. There shouldn't be any bolts and screws on the outside. Also, to adjust your lights, you should have an adjustment "screw" on top of the headlight unit when you open the hood.

My headlights when turned on in my Ford Focus C-Max keep moving up and down, If you stand in front of the car and look at the headlight you can see both sides moving up and down what is causing this?

Headlight adjustment motor on the inside of the car there will be a switch to adjust the headlights.

Check the switch first before going any further, could be a poor connection to the back of the switch or power surge.

It could be the motors for adjustment, but its highly unlikely both would go at once, check all the wiring to the back of the headlights aswell.

Hope this helps

2004 ford focus headlight ajust ment

Your adjustment screws should be white nuts (adjustable with an allen wrench, or a socket, or a pair of pliers) located behind the headlamp assembly right up against the fender

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall. You only need to do this and the aiming for your low beams as your high beams are on the same bulb

Your headlights should also say VOR. When you turn on your headlights, aim them right at the mark that you put on the wall, with the brightest cutoff directly under the mark

Headlight problem

first off if you paid to have it replaced then i would take it back to them for the adjustment if not there will be some sort of adjustment screws on the whole lamp assembly not sure exactly where on a focus but if you are persistant you will find them. then find a spot to park car close to a wall so you can see the lights projected on the wall and adjust to the driver side level
